Not everyone likes open notes. I think they're kinda neat, but sometimes their charting is awkward (Master of Puppets, BYOB...). I know one person in my RB accs thread at one point said they're in the ... |

Why don't you just put double-sided tape on the inside of the controller, where the strumming mechanism hits the plastic from the body? That'll quiet down the clanking that that makes.
