For your chords I use 2-4 or 1-3 depending on how I feel like playing. I haven't used 1-4 on chords like that though.

Easy if you have the guts of an SG. Just swap them out and keep the old xplorer buttons. You'll most likely have nice gaps for the d-pad and xbox buttons though.

If it's as rough as the red SG's, you should be fine just painting it I think. Krylon Fusion paint works good.

I have it figured out before I checked back. I found some 400 grit sandpaper laying around and decided to try using it. It's pretty dirty though so I'm going to pick up some of my own later.
