Ok, there's never ANYTHING in Michigan for us GHers, and now we are going to have our very own get-together. This is only a seed of a plan right now, but can definately happen if enough people want to do it, and we can find a place to do it. If you are interested in a Michigan Get-Togther and/or can supply games/systems/controllers/A PLACE TO HOLD IT post in this thread. There are more details, but there is a big ol' storm a brewin' so my grandma is making me get off the computer...I'll update this later.

I'm definately interested. But I'm 14, so that sucks. I guess if I'm able to go I could bring a Wii with GH3 and GHA with one guitar. With prognostics post above, I guess I could bring just the guitar, but the whammy has rubber bands to compensate for a broken spring.

It was an okay storm. Haha, I'm in Macomb Twp. I could probably be in. If we're playing on the PS2, I could bring:

A PS2
GH1,2,80's,3
A Shitty Kramer and an SG

Where do you think we would do this? At your house?

Hahaha, your one of those rich kids in Grosse Pointe? Lucky you.

A place is what we're really looking for.

And also, I think the preferred console would be the 360, more for the DLC. But that would be sick if we had a bunch of TVs with a console on every one.

Heh, I have an imagination...

Also, do you have a general idea of what city?
Detroit suburbs ftw.

Also, my whammy has a rubber band, and the strap has some duck tape.
I'll gladly use if nobody else will.

Also, I could bring On Tour lolz.

Typically stereotype of Grosse Pointe: we are, I guess, an upper class community, but probably less than a quarter of the residents would be considered "rich".

In fact, there are a lot of debt problems in GP, and the housing market is as bad as anywhere in Detroit

As for location, I'm guessing majority of the people would live within an hour's drive of Detroit, considering that's where most of the population of Michigan is.

I live within 20 minutes of Detroit, and a 2 minute walk to GP.
Also, I can guarantee Lakeshore people are in debt, there's alot of houses for sale there.

Back to topic, what kind of place where you thinking of?

Also, 10+ people = good, and like 10-15(max)$ to join?
Renting - food? = prizes?

Edit - Mgoblue, I just realized who you are.
Tomorrow you'll have less GH:A expert wii 5* cutoffs. :P

Hah, I just drove through there last week. You guys do have some pretty nice houses. And an amazing baseball team. My team, Macomb Twp, played Grosse Pointe Shores in a tournament last year and they totally kicked our ass. How do you have such good baseball teams?

I haven't really been doing those. I got wireless internet, so I've been playing other games besides GH. ZOMG HAX. And how are my cutoffs still up there? They weren't that great.

2 minute walk to GP? Do you live like the first house outside of the Pointes?

What type of league was that in?

And yeah, pretty much everyone plays Little League here. I did, dunno if I'll play in high school. I took a year off to focus on tennis. I've been told I could be a freshman on varsity .

Ehh, I'm not really sure, but it was 12-13 year olds. You guys won like 20-3. LOL. That's pretty cool about tennis though. I totally suck at tennis.

Thanks.

Alright, well, let's brainstorm a little on locations.

Grosse Pointe has free public parks. We could play GH out in the wilderness.

Oh, what's that? You say we need TV's for GH?

/no ideas

I'm up for a Get-together, just not my house.

If we're playing on Wii, I can bring my guitar! It has no whammy though...
