I hate when notes of the same arrow come really fast. I cant really get those and i was wonderin if anyone had a technique of some sort. _________________

I don't think there really is a good technique. You just have to have the skill. Twitching always helps. |

If it's really fast, I use my heel instead of the ball of my foot. _________________

keep your knee almost completely stiff and kind of jiggle your leg. _________________

For me I kind of lean towards the side with the notes and use the ball of my foot |

<7 steps per second: just use one foot and keep tapping flat foot, not toes.
7 <10 steps per second: Twitch and shift between your heel and you foot, thus each rock of your foot is 2 steps.
10+ steps per second: Use 2 feet.
You will only every need to use the final 2 strategies in BS edit files or other such crazy sims. For offical DDR files, the first strategy is the one used, but hey, some of us out there like to try and pass LolTex =P |

I do something like Yasu does on Max 300 because those are extremely fast I can see why he does them and I use them in Sakura with the 3 ups or downs in a row along with the first arrows in the song I switch over some weird way but I love it :P
He does it here at the end http://youtube.com/watch?v=I_VhLhbJ2Dw
And what I mean with Sakura is.. the first arrows are something like Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right. What I do is hit the Left with my left foot twice then hit the first Down with my right foot then after that shift my right foot over to the right arrow and hitting that last Down with my left. I find it real cool/easy |

I have a problem doing the change-chord-position jumps like ^v to <>... I tend to land too early or too late, any advice? _________________

Just practice until you can do them, thats the only advice anyone can give, the rest of the advice on this thread is rubbish. Take advice from someone who is good at this game.
Practice Dead End 9 step on expert, or CSFILSM on expert 9 step. |
