I have the Wireless Red Octane white guitar. I'm not a big fan of the tilt sensor (I go a bit crazy when I play ) and I really want to disable it so that you're forced to use the Select button to activate the star power.
Now, I took apart the Wireless guitar, and oddly enough, the tilt sensor is nowhere to be found! I searched the usual place, like the old guitar, but it's not there. I can't figure it out. Can anyone help me out here? I'd really like to mod this.
Thanks,

Ive taken my SG (GH1) apart a couple times, but only the neck once. My tilt sensor isnt in the body, and just because I wasnt doing a neck modification (killswitch is pure body), I forgot if mine is in the neck or not. Ive taken my neck off once, to switch my fret buttons into the colors of the rainbow. Top (nearest to head) to bottom (nearest to body): R O Y G B.
ANYWHO, be sure to check the neck. Maybe ill take mine apart real quick and tell you, maybe not. |

Yeah, I've taken apart my GH1 guitars, too. This wireless Red Octane one is different. I think I may have found where the tilt sensor is, and I believe it's actually on the circuit board, so this is going to be pretty difficult to figure out.

The little box that the pencil is pointing at is the tilt sensor. If you want to permanently disable it, just bend it back and forth until it breaks. |
