I'm thinking about customizing my guitar, but everywhere I look it says "sand and prime." Two things.
What number sandpaper is best for sanding down the guitar? And what does priming mean? |

Any sort of medium sandpaper should do. Priming is pre-painting with a type of paint called primer. It allows the color to show better in the final coats as well as bond better. |
