GameStop Midnight Releases

I just got a call about 5 minutes ago, a recorded message from GameStop called my house. It was just telling me that they're is going to be a midnight release for WT starting at 10 P.M.

Anyone else going to a midnight release?

It starts at ten? Get there at about 8:30.

But yeah, I got GH3 last year at midnight. Was fur-eeeezin.

Yeah, I just got a call as well. I guess my gamestop isn't doing a midnight release though, but oh well.

i literally got the call about them having the midnight release and 45 mins later i get a call saying they arent going to do it.

i thought i was getting a call for a job interview the second time

well i did get a call, but I'm curious as to whether it was specific to my Gamestop or if they sent it to all edge members. Mainly because the store i got edge in is in a mall which should be closed then, so i didn't think they were having a midnight release, but if they are then sweet, i can afford to be there at 10 just to see.

i dont get the point of midnight releases

you get it and play it until 3 am and then you feel like crap in the morning (or you sleep really late)

just wait until the morning and get it right when it opens up

there wont be as many people
its really for people who are patheticly obsessed with video games that they need it at midnight and cant wait
