My yellow key stopped making that soft popping noise when it gets pushed down and it feels like its already halfway pushed down, so i took apart the neck of the guitar and I found out that there's a gray rubber piece that sits over the frets and it pokes a flat and hard green piece every time a key is pushed. The part of the rubber thing that the yellow key pushes is sort of ripped which makes sense.
Is there a way I can get a replacement for this rubber piece somewhere or should i just go and get a new controller?
Its the wii version btw

You mean the contact plunger that pushes down into the circuit board?

It's not on guitarheroparts.com so you're SOL, go get a new one.

What type of guitar are you referring to, if it even matters ive only taken 1 guitar hero guitar apart dont know if all of them are the same. If they are universal i have my LesPaul pad you can have.

You know what's funny is that this happened to me too. I tried using the SG pads but it didn't work, since they're different. You have 2 options

1. get a les paul, even if it doesnt work since you can replace those pads.
2. Get used to it, which is what I did, I hardly notice it anymore.

yeah the cashier looked confused too, it works perfectly, though it has a bunch of stickers on it, but it was in the original box and it had the rest of the stickers and the instruction manual

LOL EB Games strikes again

a while back I wanted a PS2 Eyetoy camera because they make great quality webcams.

Anyway I went into an EB in England and bought one for 1.25 pounds (sorry no pound symbol on my keyboard)

My mate nearly choked when I showed him the receipt as he had paid over 30 for his.

I know of a few cases where they seem to misprice items and the guys at the checkout don't care they just charge what the sticker says

You'd actually be surprised, my EB/Gamestop happens to sell very good used guitar hero/rock band equipment (unless its PS3 since the LP's have internal lag), don't get too skeptical, I bought my x-plorer there and it is perfect, I just don't like it.

Glad to see you went with option 1.
