I've read about this game and noticed that you can "Rewind" if you miss. However, I also read here that Rewinding can give you more points. So, an FC/100% would be hitting every note without rewinding, correct? However, would FCs not be as practical in this game if you can get higher scores by missing and rewinding? Or can you rewind even if you hit all the notes?

Rewinds don't count towards the total streak I believe.

If you break combo and then rewind, it's not the equivalent of going back in time. You play the notes in the rewind, but your combo remains broken (until you build it up again, of course). So an FC is still an FC.

You can break combo on a Euphoria phrase, use a rewind and try to hit it again. But you don't get your combo back after breaking it and then rewinding, which hopefully answers your question.

Rewinding is just like another way of using Euphoria, as it gives you an 8x combo and allows you to replay parts of the song if you're doing well for more points. FC's in DJ Hero will probably be way longer than the actual song length (such as that one Dare video I saw that was 8 minutes long!), that is if the player makes use of all the possible rewinds.

Rewind will be ok, but with Euphoria usage, I see a Rock Band Drums-esque arguement coming in regards to using euphoria to not break combo through those insane crossfade spike patches that a few songs have.

the thing is though you still have to keep track of where the crossfader is- when euphoria runs out if you aren't back on the right track you can kiss your combo goodbye instantly.

For me when I use euphoria I am still moving the cross fader as best I can so when it runs out I am still maintaining my combo >_>

Yeah I think alot of pathing will rely on rewind for points, and euphoria for insane cross fading <_<
