Race to 55 GH3X FC's - Race CLOSED

Oh, and I just updated the OP, too. As always, let me know if I did anything stupid that I need to fix xD. I'm still trying to figure out everything that is going on in our OP; I'll master it soon lol.

And I need a response from everyone in the rivalry on this ASAP. Okay, so ever since this rivalry has started this scores have always been due Midnight GMT (which is 7:00 P.M. my time). But, I work on Sunday nights from 2-10 (my time). So, I used to just always send my scores in before I went to work. However, I have taken over the duty of keeping this rivalry running and up to date, so this now creates a problem. There are two things that can happen at this point. Please pick one of the two options.

Option 1: Scores will now be due at 5:00 GMT. This way, I will have all the scores edited and updated and announce the winner before I head off to work 2 hours later. At that point, the person that is picking the next week (the person with the lowest score on the previous week's song) will be able to begin thinking about the song they would like to pick and have it ready for me to update by the time I get back.

Option 2: The due time for scores remains the same. However, because the time remains the same, I will not be able to any updating until sometime after 10:00 my time (3:00 A.M. GMT). Therefore, the person that is picking the next song may have already gone to sleep or w/e. And you may end up losing a couple of hours of playing on the new song.

Honestly, I don't care which one it is. I don't think it matters all that much, but I was just wanting everyone to be aware that one of those two things was going to have to happen.

Woweee! First thing I did when I loaded up gh3 was crank up hyperspeed and went to play the metal. That didn't work at all. So, I went back down to my regular hyperspeed and played it again. Little better. Still was like -10 in middle 8 or w/e. Then, I was like hmmm. Let's go play Same Old Song and Dance and see if I'm on enough tonight to maybe get freak FC? Umm yeah! I FC'd it on my first try, FTFW!!! I got through the middle solo bit and was like whoa that was cool. Then, got through the fast trill at the end and was like ahhh!! Then, I was like "dammit. It's so chokeable at the end with the mini YO trill, and I am the king of chokes so I have no shot". But I'll be damned. I did it. Wow! Most random FC ever! FC #33!!

SaSaD is still overrated. But that doesn't mean it's a great FC! Good job!

As far as submitting scores go, I really don't mind. I won't be playing any GH3 after my little brother goes to bed, which is usually 9:30 PM GMT. I'll also upload the score before I go to bed, which is around 11 PM GMT. So, do whatever works best for the others.

Anywaysssss, girlfriend is gone for two weeks, so I'm going to pursue my relationship with GH3. :3

God, that song is AWKWARD to play, both strumming and fretting. Got a stupid choke on the chords before Solo 2, then kept missing the mini trill on Big Solo, surprisingly enough no chokes on Solo 2's trill yay

ANYWAYSSSSHHHHHHH, I played some GH3 again. Interesting stuff that happened:

- Tech FCs of Down 'n' Dirty, I'm In The Band and Impulse. (zomgwtf i hit the insane breakdown)
- Pride & Joy -1 (OMGOMG)
- TTFAF score increase: 461k to 475k.
- RaBl score increase: 214k to 216k. xD

Also...

Last post, I promise.

Well, I went to go work on CoFwRaR for the fun of it. Went to the solo 1 part that always gets me, and wasn't even close on the first time through. Second time, I just about got it. Third time, I did hit it. And again on the fourth time. I have no idea what I did any different, but I have always failed miserably at that part. So, I decided to take it to a run while I was still hot at it. And I hit it! But I choked. In solo 2b. I did. In my defense, I haven't played the song all the way through in a while, and I activated at sp right after the triplets, so I couldn't see the notes ALL that well. Meh.

Went back to practice and hit it one more time, and haven't hit it since. I keep missing the note right before the downward scales. I don't know where the random ability to hit that came from or where it went to, but it seems it's gone now.. Maybe I can pick it back up somehow today.

Cheers Hak, my old guitar with the dodgy red is now pretty much dead

Luckily, my housemate got back today and he brought his guitar, so all is well once more

Great tech FCs by the way, especially Nothing For Me Here! What's the chances of an actual FC you reckon?

Thanks for adding me in trevster, I don't think I will get involved with this week's score challenge due to the fact I can't upload proof of scores until Sunday. As for The Metal, all I can really say is just keep going at it mate, it took me an absolute age to get through it without choking!
Also, great job on the SoSaD FC mate, I struggle with that badly

Speaking of chokes, had a great run earlier on CoFwRaR, FC'd everything up until the 8th last note of the song. I was absolutely gutted lol, but that FC is coming soon!
