Just sayin' |
I'm pretty sure thecaptainof was talking to stumper, not to you. I also paid off my own car with my college funds and that stuff isn't fun :x And yeah, the insurance is a pain in the butt, especially when you still have to pay $400 to fix the car
Also apparently my husband has bought me gifts. Multiple gifts! 0_o More updates soon.

(I bought him some stuff too buuuuuuut he's prolly reading this forum so I can't say what <_< but I think he'll be pleased ) _________________

Well each year I only get stuff from my brother, parents, one set of grandparents, a single grandma, and another grandpa. This year I'm actually getting more than usual, which I'm surprised at. Like you guys to me it seems like everybody else always gets so much for Christmas. This year I'm getting a lot, or it seems like a lot because I don't have a job, but I'm certainly excited.
What I'm getting:
Mom: $100
Grandparents: $125
Dad: Idk, some amount of money
Single grandma: $10 BK gift card, $25 cash
Other grandpa: Some clothes from American Eagle (usually some thrift store, now I'm actually getting some awesome clothes hopefully)
What I'm giving:
Brother: Special Edition thing of Inception (hopefully)
Mom: A slate with our dog and last name on it (she loves our dog so much)
Again, I don't wanna sound spoiled, cause last year I didn't get anywhere close to as much as this year, so I'm ecstatic. |

Oh, you can add one more thing added to the giving list.
I'm piecing together a super tiny computer for my parents to watch Netflix on, and my 700GB of movies I have on my external drive. _________________

What do I want? Plenty of stuff. What am I going to get? Not much. And yet my mom is suprised when I tell her that all my friends completely dominate me in gifts received when their families don't make as much (Ex. MW2 Xbox for my 16th birthday last year, friend got a Mercedes ML). As for giving, I got my other buddy some sick ass new locking tuners for his Gibson Explorer _________________

Know what I'm getting:
Contra - Vampire Weekend (Oops! Found it in a bag in my parents closet =P
another CD (UNKNOWN)
What I don't know what I'm getting:
Uhh...
Seriously, why does everyone want their surprises ruined and getting early gifts? I like the surprise and everything on Christmas (except for Christmas Eve when we have our party at my uncle's house) :3 _________________

Getting for christmas? Nothing. We just don't have the money for gift giving this year.
What do I want for christmas? A job would certainly be nice, but we all know that sort of thing can't happen nowadays. _________________

Please tells me that stands for Burger King, because that would be an awesome grandma. _________________

Can you even get anything of substance at Burger King for under $10? |
