The NFL Thread- Playing the Waiting Game

For some reason I thought the Saints game was at 8 tonight. But it's actually at 4:30 which means I'll be at work and miss at least half the game if not all of it

If it was at 8, that would have been perfect since I get off at 7. Very disappointed Saints fan today

Guess I'll at least be able to root for the Jets tonight.

I'm going to have to try and get in touch with a friend of mine to DVR the game. He hates the Saints but hopefully he'll at least do it for me. lol Would make my day a little bit better anyways.

Since when did the Seahawks have an offense? I think they scored 5 points over their season average in the course of 29 minutes.

Btw, first post in this thread, so.......huuuuuuuuge Falcons fan, I've liked them since I was first introduced to football by my dad in grade school. Hopefully this year will be the year they finally win the Super Bowl.

So depending on who wins the Packers Eagles game will determine if the Seahawks face Atlanta or Chicago.......not sure if I want the Seahawks riding this upset into Atlanta lol

That is just some horrible rushing defense. The Saints absolutely suck at stopping the run. We made too many potential mistakes in that game. Disappointed my team lost but I still wouldn't mind seeing a 7-9 team win the Super Bowl. lol And why didn't they play this well in the regular season??

Talk about a mess. I'm one of the few people who wanted the Seahawks to get creamed, just to stick it to that douchebag Pete Carroll. Otherwise, I'd be hopping on the calamity train with everyone else.

All of this talk that the Seahawks don't belong in the postseason with a losing record, blah blah blah...well, for now, they sure seemed to belong in the playoffs more than the Saints did. The Saints just didn't seem to care on defense, or play with all of their effort. If you're not gonna give your opponent 100% in the PLAYOFFS of all places, regardless of who it is, you don't belong in the postseason yourself. I hate Pete Carroll a lot, but I'll definitely give the Seahawks full credit for going out and having their best game of the season. Great performance by them.

I hope whoever draws them next week, Atlanta or Chicago, does what the Saints couldn't do. Their defense just didn't show up, or seem to care. Hasselbeck turned back the clock to 2006 and put on an ass whooping.

Hell yes Jets. I was pissed when Sanchez threw the bomb on 3rd and 5 with 2 minutes left, but the defense did their job the entire game. Cromartie had one hiccup giving up the big pass to Garcon, but made it up with the 50 yard kick-off return. Damn that was a good game. Here's hoping they have a shot against the Patriots next week. Is this one also personal Rex? XD
