It saddens me to know that this piece of shit game will sell some copies solely based on ignorance.

Yeah I saved a guy from that earlier. Told him about Rock Band 3's Pro mode; he was amazed.

AUTHENTIC DLC TIME

Alternative Rock Pack
Dashboard - Modest Mouse
The Impression That I Get - Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Beer - Reel Big Fish

You have no idea how pissed I am that this shitass game got RBF dlc. I hope someone makes a video of it. I'd like to see the chart and if they used the original or the rerecord.

Yeah the gameplay is more or less identical but the setlist is better. However if you try to use the guitar it IS worse than rock revolution. Good god.

I actually think it's a great deal for thirty dollars.

Incidentally, I browsed the Xbox LIVE marketplace last night, in order to see which songs are available to download, for this game. (This was solely out of curiosity; I don't actually own PowerGig.) I looked under "P," but saw no listing for PowerGig DLC. Additionally, the game doesn't show up in the web-based list of music games with add-ons. So it would appear that the Xbox 360 version's DLC has been yanked. Can anyone confirm whether or not DLC for the PS3 version is still available?

I also decided to look at the official website, for more info, and it would appear that the site has been yanked, too.

Wow, that's awfully sudden. The DLC was released only about nine months ago. I wonder why it was taken down after such a short period of time. All of Rock Revolution's DLC is still up in spite of how badly that game tanked, and that game's been out for nearly three years. (Well, at least all DLC that I know of is still up. It's possible that some Rock Revolution DLC was made available before I heard of RR, but that the DLC was yanked before I ever bothered to see what DLC was available.)

Anyway, it doesn't affect me much because I doubt that I would have ever bought those three songs, anyway, because none of them can be played in Rock Revolution. You see, I saw some youtube videos that compare note charts of the same song, as played in two different rhythm games. This one compares TTFAF as played in GHIII, compared to the same song as played in GuitarFreaks XG. I thought it would be cool if I could do a "four-way mash-up" comparing Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Rock Revolution, and PowerGig. But alas, it would appear that it's not possible, as there aren't any songs that can be played in both PowerGig and Rock Revolution. If only PowerGig could have included "Our Truth," instead of "Spellbound." Oh, well.
