It seemed like whenever the cards needed to get a bloop or a bleeder, they got it. Also, what the hell with all the friggin' errors and terrible pitching this WS? Everything is so damn sloppy except the hitting. _________________

The third inning was the only inning where no points were scored from either team. Crazy intense game tonight! What a WS game should be! Go Cards! w00t! |

i feel like i just had amazing sex, that was such an amazing game, and it is SO fun to watch those kinds of games when you're a neutral party, and the pressure isn't on you. _________________

I don't see how the Rangers can recover from that. That's one of the most crushing defeats I've ever seen. It's as if the Cardinals are just...destined or something. I'd say this would make for a thrilling game 7 tomorrow, but these sorts of epic games typically follow up with a thud. If it's a Rangers blowout, I'll take it. _________________

I was freaking out bad those last innings haha. So happy the cardinals got that win though, crazy game! Game 7 is going to be awesome, will be even more awesome if the Cardinals win at home. It's always more fun to watch a team celebrate at their home field. _________________

Well, seriously. They're down 10 1/2 games with a month to go, and get in on the final day of the regular season. They weren't supposed to beat Philly and their 4 aces, and they do. They weren't supposed to beat the Brewers, who are incredible at home, and loaded with offense, but they do. The Cardinals go down to their final strike TWICE tonight, tie it twice, and walk off. I don't see how you can have so much go your way, only for it to end with a thud tomorrow. Sure, that's what I want to see, but sheesh. _________________

Ron Washington is over his head.
Now it's Carpenter vs. Harrison. _________________

So, I went to bed after the Back-to-Back homeruns the rangers hit (6th inning? Dunno).
I heard I missed something... _________________

I am a Cardinals fan. I am also an Illini fan college-wise. Let me tell you something that I have learned over 16 years and some change of being an Illini faithful.
When your team appears to be destined, and things start to go their way, and you finally think that you're going to be happy, you will lose because God is punishing you for something that you're not sure of and he knows the ultimate punishment is falling apart at the LAST moment. Just thought I'd throw that out there. |

Ouch. Just saw two amazing hits from the Rangers to open up the first inning. Not the best start for Carpenter, which stinks, cause he's from my town
EDIT: I take it back, all tied up! _________________

Well, with any luck, I guess for the first time in a while I'm not getting teased by fate. This bodes well. I have to hand it to the Rangers though, they fought hard in this series. Good play overall (albeit sloppy pitching) for both sides. Great series! No matter who wins! |
