Hello, I just wonder. Are there any way to download songs from bands like Slipknot, In Flames or Trivium and put them in Guitar Hero 3? I know how to import songs I haven't found any songs that I can download for free. Does anyone know a link? If so, share it? :p |

Well, the reason you don't find the mp3s coming with the charts is legal by nature, these files cannot be distributed freely.
The same way no-one can leave those mp3s lying around with the charts, they also can't give it to you in the forums. I'm sure you can manage.
Just make sure the file you get your hands on has the same length as the chart, if you can't match the files, specifically if you can't match the beginning of the song to the chart, some tweaking with the offset/Audacity is possible. |

I'm 75% sure it's legal to share music by law (before the internet age, the labels didn't see any harm), and now that the internet age is around, it's an ethical debate.
I've gotta check my sources.
As far as importing music, chart makers usually let you know the duration of the sound file they're using. It shouldn't be too difficult to match up. |
