Hi, a big amount of PC speedrunners is BAD because all they do is spam qucksave\quickload, watching this shit is not fun, for example games like Jet Set Radio and Halo was originally released on consoles, not on PC, PC only has shitty ports of them with things like quicksaving that wasnt in the original, watching a PC runner generally is a very boring experience because all of thgem dont have skills the console runners has because for them every problem in the world and every mistake is easily could be fixed by a simple quickload. _________________

I stream Shovel Knight speedruns from my Wii U when i can. I guess i will go back to being absent again haha, just thought i would add to this thread in case anyone pops in
EDIT: holy hell how old is this avatar lol _________________

Long play speed running just got a little harder to maintain (as if Twitch itself hasn't been completely compromised to begin with). |

Just started speedrunning myself, currently learning the route for Resident Evil 2 Leon A.

So, AGDQ submissions are now up. Any thoughts? I'm particularly hopeful that Sonic 1 makes the final cut. I don't think there's been a decent run of it at any GDQ, and TimpZ is a phenomenal runner. Although I'm just a Sega kid in a Nintendo world _________________

Just completed my first ever Resident Evil 2 marathon for the Leon A scenario. Finished with an in-game time of 1:07:20. _________________

Time for another season of AGDQ. Good times!
As for my own speedruns, I recently started attempting Resident Evil 1 HD. I imported the Japanese PS3 version (which is all in English!). Never properly speedrun'd REmake till now, there's some trophies in the game to actually beat the game in under 5 hours and 3 hours. I got 2:59:25 on my first shot. Ha! Not too bad considering I have no idea what the optimized route is on it. Better go look it up then. |

NSMB is about to be run by Emo Arbiter, who I'm pretty sure is an SH'er. Kudos to him on getting in the marathon! _________________

I got into speedrunning in 2013 and I've been encountering people in the speedrunning community who were previously associated with GH/RB like Pheenoh, JoeDamillio, and z1mb0bw4y lol.
I speedrun Ocarina of Time, and I mainly run the 100% category of that game. My current PB is a 5:23:09 and my goal is a 4:35:xx or lower. _________________
