Watched "Legion" today... that was a bit weird. Okay film though!
Also watched "The Family" which I enjoyed, had a few funny moments in as well.
And finally, watched "The Bucket List" which was also a good film. Slightly sad ending, I guess, but good nevertheless. _________________

Doubled up today!
Lucy: Quite clever, incredibly conceptual, occasionally funnily pithy (the entire sphere of human knowledge fits onto a USB stick!), but not quite sure if it was actually that good. Also, you do not put Morgan Freeman in a film and then expect Scarlett Johansson to match him in the speech-delivering stakes. It's not going to work.
Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For: It's Sin City. If you liked the first one, you'll like the second. That said, it was actually surprisingly sad; Nancy's Last Dance is presented as a glorious ending of a villain getting his comeuppance, but is actually the final corruption of the last decent human being left in the city. It's the soil, indeed. _________________

Finally got round to watching Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels over the weekend. It was pretty good. Apparently Snatch is better though...? _________________

I wanna go see that... looks decent enough from the trailer!
Last film I watched was The Hunger Games which I didn't think would be good hence why I never bothered watching it, but it was actually okay!
Last film at a cinema, was Gone Girl which was um... interesting. Longer than I expected, and didn't expect the 'c' word. It was good though. _________________

Big Hero 6. Another great animated showing for this year. And it has this thing. What's not to like? _________________

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies
As someone who isn't exactly *that* well-versed in the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit universe, I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I went to see it with my dad. But I was pleasantly surprised. _________________

I watched the horror movie Oculus the other night. It had it's cheesy moments, but I thought it was fantastic and watched it again a few nights later.
On a similar note, I saw the horror flick Bloodworx last night. It was terrible. So so terrible. |

Saw Mad Max: Fury Road almost a week ago. Probably the best movie I've seen for the first time this year, this and Guardians of the Galaxy. _________________

Jurassic World
Thrilling, intense, and just everything a new Jurassic Park movie should be. Definitely my favorite new movie I've seen this year, alongside Mad Max: Fury Road. _________________
