This shit.
My method for the trips up to this point go as detailed:
311212311212311212311211
311212311212311212311212
111212311212311212311211
311212311212311212311212
Put simply, my fretting hand is on the even beats and my strumming hand handles the odds. This technique is the main reason I made a thread rather than going by the other threads' advice, as the normal method is to have the fretting hand on the on-beat (which is strange to me personally, considering the transition into the section).
This technique is the only one that works for me (and even then the transition from YBO to GRY is pretty inconsistent), but I can't think of anything for the stupid strum in the middle of it all.
Advice on the orange wall would also be appreciated. _________________

I strum and do 2 sets of Triplets with my left hand before tapping again. _________________

Fretting with left hand instead of tapping for the last one before the strum seems to be the best way around. I would still recommend learning the "good" method instead, even if it takes time to get down.
As for the orange wall I can only recommend building up muscle memory by playing the section A LOT on lower speeds, and gradually increasing up to full speed. That's how I got it down 6 years ago and it's still kicking in every time I play it when I'm warmed up. _________________

Since your main hand is hitting the last ry before the strum just elbow strum it then slide down with your index _________________

Well, depends on you, if you can get your right hand quickly to strum bar, strum and get it back on the frets then do it. If you prefer using an elbow strum (even if you are holding yellow with your left hand), do this.
There's not much else possible coming to my mind. If you can't do any of the 2 methods, try them at lower speed and then speed up to know which method fits you better. You may be wanting also to try to strum early/on time/late the yellow, once again it can change a little something that fits you better.
The method I currently used (for example in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFc21D6bgKE )
is that I alt tap on beats, so I end up doing
RYB tap
RYB left hand
RYY right hand + elbow strum
and then slide green and left hand the GRY
Note that with tapping on beats, I actually have time to do
RYY left hand + normal strum
but elbow fits me better and doesn't break my speed. _________________

You're tapping YB then fretting the last Y with your normal hand at the moment right? I think the main aim to hit the strum is to hit the hammer on yellow before it as soon as possible, giving you a larger window to strum the solid yellow.
To do this I think tapping that yellow would be best (So you tap YBY (121))
If you strum with your elbow more or less as you hit that yellow with your tapping finger it should be dead on. Tap the yellow HARD to give yourself a bigger opening to nail that strum (if you hit it hard you're natirally gonna have that button held down for longer than if you tickle it).
As for the Orange wall, all I remember is I tapped OBO (whether these be the last notes of the triplets or the first few of the wall I'm not sure). Again do these as fast as you can to give yourself a head start.
Abuse that timing window! Good luck. _________________
