Anyway to improve strumming?

Hi, i feel like i'm really good at guitar hero with the solo parts but my problem is with strumming.

I find myself mostly down strumming but when i try to mix it with up and down strumming i can't keep the speed.

Does anyone have tips?

That out of the way, the best way to get better at altstrumming is literally just to keep doing it. As long as you make an effort to keep trying and improving at it you will get better at it.
