I generally suck at keeping combo in this song. It doesn't make sense to me because I feel like it's such a simple rhythm, and I know my fretting is correct. Any tips on keeping combo on this song? I have tried playing it at least once or twice a day but I constantly feel like I am either slightly too early or slightly too late, to a point where I feel like the timing is tighter on this song in particular which of course is ridiculous and can't be true. I know that practice makes perfect and I intend to practice this song until I get an FC, but any tips would be appreciated

Be careful not to lift your hands too early. That was my issue. Slide quickly at the last moment and hit the transitioning note a tad late, and you should be okay. Song is frustrating but it contains SO MANY FREE POINTS that it can't be ignored for a long period of time lol

This. It's really just a matter of getting used to the guitar and engine. Because there is no hyperspeed you will most likely be tempted to hit stuff early, especially during transitions. It's much harder to switch finger positions on this guitar than on the original GH and sometimes my fingers get stuck. I was afraid that would happen when I saw the guitar design but heh, we'll get used to it.
