Haven't seen a topic for this, but I can confirm that Double Multiplier is indeed better than Score Chaser. Did a comparison on the same chart, and at the break I had ~5,500 more points when I used the double multiplier as opposed to using Score Chaser.

To conclude, Double Multiplier will be the Hero Power to use, once you maxed out all your guitar upgrades and will be ready to post scores for GHTV on ScoreHero
