I'm trying to find a PS2 version of DDR that I can use for aerobic exercise. Which version has the best workout mode, or at least a nonstop mode that'll keep my heart rate going? I don't really care about tracking calories. I just want to get in shape using video games.

If you can find a copy of Max2 then you are set. You can set workout mode to only play certain songs and/or difficulty, and turn fail off. Next best bet would be Supernova, which is also readily available.

It also (Max2) has a NonStop mode. You can fail on that one though

Supernova, as Phr34k said, is also another good one to play.

Yeah really anything after the original Max is good since you have endless mode, except that it can take a while to unlock it. You can set break stage to 0 if you really want to test yourself as the songs will keep coming until you fail.

SuperNova will be the easiest to find, so you shouldn't have too many problems there. Though most people, including myself, would recommend DDRMAX2 as their favorite home version for most purposes, including exercise.

supernova has a good workout mode altho i'd assume it's similar to max2/extreme (does max1 have workout mode?)

one think i dont like about supernova is lack of event mode.

to be honest aside from calorie counting (not really sure how it determines that), if you have event mode set to ON you can play each song just as you would in workout mode but still get scored on it for records
