The best theme is Saria's, god I love entering the lost woods. There was a Zelda thread, in this discussion it was about windwaker. I posted it, and got less than 15 replies. An _________________

Make sure to check every nook and cranny, interact with your surroundings, try shooting arrows at things you might not think are switches, etc. There's always some way to get to the next room, regardless of the puzzle.
Also, make sure to break all the breakable objects in the room first. There may be something hiding in them, under them, or behind them. _________________

Only game I haven't beaten is Minish Cap, simply because I can't find a copy of it. Love Zelda games, been playing them since around 1989.
My big question is, anyone going to be doing a commemorative run of Ocarina of Time later this year? Being that it IS the 10th anniversary? _________________

Quote: | Holy crap, you beat Misery Mire in 11 minutes? That's incredible...
It took me about an hour to do it, and I've beaten the game many times as well. |
Yes I did! I played it again and got a slightly quicker time of 11:15 from the end of the second dungeon to the end of misery mire. The key is to memorize exactly what to do, there is alot of wasted space in this dungeon that you never even have to visit. I watched a speed run and drew myself a cryptic map to get the route down. Honestly, besides the fact that I have the green mail, and hence some enemies do considerable damage with one hit, I think this dungeon clocks in as easier than turtle rock and the thieves hideout. If you do get hurt though it can be difficult to heal yourself, I think there is a lack of anti-faeries that you can magic powder into faeries; maybe i'm wrong there though. _________________

Used to be able to do a run of OoT about 6-7 hours, no deaths.
TP, to me, is a little boring till the fire temple IMO. Mainly due to lack of fights+lots of running around+i've done it before=not much fun.
Fire temple though is well designed IMO.
TP, MM, WW, and PH are the only ones i haven't beaten
EDIT: Klaww, i'm willing to help you out if you want. _________________

I love playing Zelda! I think the only one I've beaten is OoT.
The thing is that I can't stand to watch my friend play it... Here's some dialogue:
Him: David, I'm stuck. What do I do?
Me: Dude... I just helped you out like 5 minutes ago... Anyway, I'll give you a hint: you must use your ocarina to get to the next room.
Him: So you want me to break that pot over there?
Me: /facepalm No. You need to play a song to open the door.
Him: So you want me to shoot the pot with a fire arrow?
Me: No, goddammit. You need to play the fucking Zelda's lullaby to get the door open...
Him: So you want me to shoot the arrow at the ceiling at an invisible switch?
Me: NO YOU RETARD! FUCKING WALK UP TO THE DOOR, PRESS C-DOWN, AND PLAY THE FUCKING LULLABY!
Him: But you told me I needed my arrows.

Question for everyone here.
I'm a huge Zelda fan and have logged probably about 250 hours in to OoT and have gotten 100% of everything in probably record time. My question is about the Master Quest game on the Gamecube. I heard it was different, but how different? Are the places the same but have different bosses, puzzles, items, etc.? Are the graphics better in some way? I'm thinking the story remains the same, but I'm just wondering if I'll find it somewhat new if I happen to come across the game. _________________

im not 100% sure, but i think the bosses and enemies are harder, and more dungeons. _________________

Eh, sort of.
The Master Quest's overworld and story are absolutely identical. However, the dungeons are completely and totally different. Whole new puzzles, etc. However, the item gained in the dungeon and the boss itself don't change at all. _________________

Am I the only one who finds Majora's Mask the hardest game in the series?
Zelda is awesome though, particularly the Oracles and OoT.
Phantom Hourglass was really easy. Easier than Twilight Princess, and TP was pretty easy. Not to mention the series' great humor. *points finger at avatar* _________________

I didn't find it that difficult. Other than the original, the hardest for me was OoT Master Quest, which by the way was winsauce. _________________

I havent played many of them, so to me the most difficult is either ocarina, or the first one. _________________

A few dungeons of a Link To The Past can be very hard, especially Misery Mire, the Ice Palace, and Turtle Rock. Ganon's Castle is massive too, but it's very nonlinear, which makes it very fun. _________________
