I started playing Guitar Hero at christmas 2007 and I beated TTFAF in august 2008.

Lol I "finally" passed it (never really worked on it). First try after I passed the intro (I can pretty much FC it on slow with 3 different methods consitently).

The score was bs (around 290000ish or something) but yeah ...

GH3 has the worst engine out of all the rhythm games I have ever played (haven't played GH1 or RB1 though. This kinda makes GH3 pretty pointless outside of random online madness and Co-op.

finally beat ttfaf first time I really practiced since I got a guitar. Used guitar on some parts controller for solo and other parts.

I haven't played it in about a year and I got about 553k. Around 10k off a 5 star/my high score. I missed most of the beginning SPs, and fudged my strumming in the first rampaging dragons. Not to mention frequent streak breaks from random hopos.

I also attempted to tap most trills with a 50% success rate. I'm fairly certain I could hit 600k or more if I jumped on it, which I plan on doing.

LOL i've been able to pass it every time for a few months, now I can 5 star it pretty consistantly. My high score is 581k.

I wonder if I'm the only one who uses his tapping hand for holding green and then use the fretting hand to hit RYBOs. Never fails to 90%+ it, but if only I sucked less at Through the Fire I could 400k it.
