The activation lengths are approximate. I activated at the same places Krimsun did, measure 89 and beat 3 of measure 144. I believe I get 2.75 more beats of whammying than Krim does before the first activation. For the second activation I think I pull off maybe a half beat more of whammying. Maybe I should try making SP paths more often. |
You may have extracted more SP than I did, but there is a flaw in the locations of two of your breaks. The reason I chose to properly play Phrase 3 (the GY chords with the whammy near the end), and Phrase 9 (the phrase after the first activation), is because both of those are before streams of chords, and having to rebuild your multiplier during the chords [probably, I haven't actually counted if it...] hurts you more than having a little more SP helps. |

I'm not participating in the leagues this season, but I thought the 3/12 twist was interesting, so I drew what I'm pretty sure is the optimal path last week.
It's similar to both of the paths drawn by others in this thread, but with a few differences. Note that you want to break combo as late as possible in the
phrase and the first phrase in the solo since you will be breaking it again before you get back to x4.
And I calculated that it is slightly better to have SP for 3.5 extra beats and break streak during the first verse rather than get the phrase in the first verse. _________________

Ah, makes sense. I guess I thought too much about whammying the most I could instead of where chords might show up. I was wondering why you got the SP in the first verse. Barbaloot's path looks like a mixture of ours. First half is me, 2nd is you. |

Alright, Barbaloot and Krim, you two need to agree on your paths (well, not really since it doesn't help the community at all, but it's the most interesting thing out there now since what's-his-name decided to start posting computer generated paths on the sp forums). _________________
