Several things lately have made me regret getting a wii. |
Well, the Wii still has some good games. Brawl is just a reason in itself to have a Wii, and Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy are great too, so that helps make up for it. The only thing that sucks is that the ports we get suck >_>. _________________

Kind of sad that the Wii wasn't mentioned, but I'm not counting it out yet. Either way I'm getting it. The Song Creator isn't the main thing for me. |

First no DLC, and now there's no Line 6? Is the Wii version of the game even going to include the song creator? At least Rock Band is going to include song packs which you can buy as an alternative to DLC. Since it shows that Harmonix cares about my system, I'm going with them. |
Neversoft said the Wii would have DLC |

You'll be able to save up to 100 songs of your own creation locally, upload five at a time (you're free to swap your favorites in and out of GH Tunes), and download up to 200 tracks others have created. Activision was quick to point out that the Wii version will have the same features as the PS3 and 360. You can create songs, upload them, download them, and purchase famous downloadable tracks on Wii.

I'll take you guys at your word that this is actually a good thing, since music creation on this level has never really occurred to me.
Bring on the setlist. |

What a great idea not to include the Wii in this. Wii gamers make up a higher percentage of gamers than both X360 and PS3, and are likely to have many GH users. So, I think this was maybe GH's best move at again not including the Wii in something. _________________

Go away.
Besides, character creation... I would say that it is VERY, VERY likely to have
it on the Wii because a character could fit into the WIIMOTE.
It has around 4KB storage space. Look, it the custom characters
could easily be just a simple text file with example of:
"eyes=3
eyes_color=5
chest=2
stomach=6
legs=1
shoes=2"
you know what I mean. The game would read the file and THEN create a character out of it.
It would take the third option for eyes, fifth option for eye colors, second option for chest looks and so on and so on.
Also, we can use Miis as an example of this. One Wiimote can handle a
handful of Miis, which I don't think are much smaller than GH custom
characters.
And the character editor: Well, that wouldn't take really much space too
since the graphics are compressed in the Wii and PS2 version (which
doesn't really matter) and the pre-made characters would be made of the
parts in the creator. And for colored things in the creator, they don't need
to make another "hair" or "shoe" or something. They just need to change
the palette of the item or whatever technology they're using.
Music editor: Well, I don't think they're going to make a separate music
creator for the Wii. Besides, 512MB is just about enough for custom songs
+ some VC games + characters + DLC... The songs are midis, anyway.
At least on the Wii and PS2 versions, even though I think that PS2's DVD
could handle 80 mp3 songs, since they can handle a movie ( around 1GB
usually), and the Wii Optical Disc is around the same size:

Quote From Wikipedia
For the Wii, Nintendo extended the technology to use a full size 12-cm, 4.7/8.5 GB DVD-based disc (RVL-006), enabling it to have the benefits of the Nintendo GameCube Game Disc, while having the standard capacity of a double-layer DVD-ROM. Although the Wii can utilize double-layer discs, all titles were single-layer up until the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. With the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Nintendo has admitted that some Wii systems have trouble reading dual-layer discs due to a dirty laser lens. Nintendo is repairing systems with dual-layer problems free of charge, regardless of warranty status. |
This is why I just love Nintendo (besides the world-pwning franchises).
The Wii is going to have this, or it's not going to have a music creator at all.
But, I think Vicarious Visions doesn't want the same situation as they have
with Wii GH3 DLC, so I believe Wii will have this.
And now for the most important thing in this post is that this was probably the longest I've ever written. But yes, it looks longer because I make
a lot of new lines but I think it's easier to read posts like this. _________________
