Being from So Cal myself, I pretty much have a complete grasp of how much competition we have in everything, mostly because there are so many people living here. "Californians represent 12.5 percent, one out of every eight persons, of the United States population." (http://www.dof.ca.gov/HTML/DEMOGRAP/ReportsPapers/Estimates/Rankings/CityCounties1-06/RankerText.asp)
Anyway, since we have so many people, why is it that I'm hearing about a New Mexico tournament yet I hear nothing about one here? I might be able to drive up as far as, say, Lemoore for a tournament. Not that I'd win because that's not nearly possible, but I want to be in one. |

We were actually having a small discussion of starting one in Sacramento sometime in the future. _________________

Damn. Ours is only worth $450k I believe.
It'd probably be better if our front lawn was anything but a large compilation of green weeds, but whatever. _________________

Man, I wish my house was way overpriced. Too bad I live in Ohio. _________________

Yeah I live in MA. But at least we have trees and snow? My grandparents' place on the Long Island Sound is supposed to be worth a pretty penny, though. |

It's really not that nice of a house. It's all about location. I have a friend who moved here from Illinois last summer and he says that the house he got here is half the size of his old house and cost 100 thousand dollars more. _________________

Yeah, I think the least expensive house in our neighborhood is around $400k. We're not in the slums of it or anything, mind you. We just happened to pick an older area of the neighborhood. _________________

Sake our house is worth over £120,000 which is only just over $220,000
houses are well cheap here London you can be paying about the same as Hylians £240,000+
and to think I used to live there, we could live like kings now! |
Should've stayed out here. Houses just continuously go up in value.
Of course...you also have to deal with 8% sales tax on nearly everything you buy in California. _________________

Yeah, about an hour away. We go there a lot, and you are correct. They have amazing coasters. _________________
