Oh god, this is painful:

Nickelback
Fall Out Boy
My Chemical Romance
Daft Punk
Simple Plan
All-American Rejects
And all the rap, pop, country and R&B that was on the radio.

Now I pretty much don't like anything that's listed above. My favorite bands are now Between the Buried and Me, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Muse and Slayer.

I was an avid fan of My Chemical Romance an the emo scene, but once I realized all the better music (IMO) out there was that much better, I started exploring other bands. And if we go back to the time I was 9, artists I listened to were Ciara, Lil John, Usher, Green Day, Linkin Park, Gwen Stefani :X, etc.

I now listen to Muse, BTBAM, Metallica, The Fall of Troy, Incubus, Nirvana, among many other bands. I do still listen to some pop music like Lady GaGa, Paramore, Tswift, and especially the song "Party in the USA."
I also just got into relistening to Eisley which is a nice break from the more heavier part of my library.

Well, my favorite bands when I was younger were The Beatles, Oingo Boingo, Devo, and the B-52's.

The Beatles are still the greatest thing to happen to Rock music, and the other bands I still like a lot, just not as much as stuff I've gotten into since starting to play GH/RB.

I used to listen to Nickelback and My Chemical Romance a lot but I don't anymore. Same goes for much of the songs that were (and still are) on the radio. Never did listen to rap though.

I used to listen to System of a Down and Incubus a lot more than I do now but I still like them.

I could never get into MCR, I just find his voice burns my ears >.<.

Nickelback I think everybody probably enjoyed at some point. I guess people are just fed up of them now. I know I am, and I used to fairly enjoy their stuff.

To add to the list -

Taking Back Sunday
Enter Shikari (Their new album dissapointed me so much I canceled my ticket order to go see them)
Dragonforce (I used to just love fast shreds, it's boring now.)
Tenacious D (I still chuckle at songs when they come on, but I don't ever really listen to them)
Muse (I just went off them.)
Lostprophets/30STM (Both band's first albums were fairly good alt-rocky stuff. Then they both went more mainstream-poprock and I didn't like it.)

Green Day definitely. I never did fall for American Idiot though. Even as a 13 (It came out in 2005 right?) year old I knew it was bullshit.

I used to really like Brand New, From First to Last (ugh), Silverstein (ugh), Alkaline Trio (meh), and other pop punk/post hardcore bands.

Then I listened to Megadeth, \m/

Man, just about any punk rock. Seriously, I used to love that shit. Green Day, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, all that jazz.

I'm not sure what happened. I'm pretty sure I went from that to Hair Metal, then to Metal, then to all the heavy stuff I listen to now.

Wow, looking back, I listened to some crazy shit. I used to be all over rap, too.

Ew.

Slipknot...I used to listen to them in 6th and a couple years after that, but now there so blah now that all the "metalhead" kids listen to them thinking theyre cool moshing to Wait and Bleed...

I still like them, just not as much as I used to anymore

like so many other people for 3 years when I was 8 to 11 I was obsessed with Linking Park. For a summer it was Limp Bizkit. Than for awhile it was The Who. No I listen to alot of stuff. Mostly BTBAM, ABR, BOO, A7X, Slayer, ATR, System, Meshuggah, Tech N9ne, Tool, Beneath The Sky(amazing band that not that many people know about, Bring Me The Horizon(Hate the band but like a few of their songs) and Cephalic Carnage.

side note. It kills me to put Cephalic Carnage and BMTH next to eachother in the same post

Linkin Park, Disturbed, KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Bullet For My Valentine, and MC Lars.

Linkin Park was the first band I ever got into. I was around 10.

Then I started listening to Disturbed, then I got into all the Nu-Metal stuff that was huge during 2001-2007.

MC Lars was just a really bad phase.

I don't think any of the bands I used to listen to a lot are bad, I just found better stuff than them. I don't mind listening to some LP or BFMV sometimes.
