Can we please avoid lists like this? The ones that are just "list a bunch of songs that were decently played on a certain genre of radio"? I know all of these, but I'm quite sure a very high number of people wouldn't know most of them unless they listened to rock radio almost nonstop. _________________

The only true songs everyone knows are ones played during commercials.
The freecreditreport.com ones for example. _________________

I never though about those. What about all the random menu music in game consoles, or elevator music? Things like that?
Also, Soul Man by The Blues Brothers. You'd have to be heartless to not know that song. _________________

I had never heard the part after the intro until GH5 came out. I pretty sure you've heard the intro b4. _________________

No one has said anything about movie music or television show theme songs, like:
Star Wars
Batman TV show
Andy Griffith
The Simpsons
Twilight Zone
Jaws
and others, but my brain isn't working very well right now. _________________
