You maybe heard it when you were litlte, or because a friend showed it to you, I don't know. But I was just wondering this because I recently (OK, maybe mid October ain't that recently) found out that Jump was made by Van Halen. In my case:
A7X: Beast and the Harlot (Burnout Revenge FTW!)
Van Halen: Jump (as I early said)
Metallica: The Unforgiven I _________________

Ain't Talking 'Bout Love - Van Halen
Detroit Rock City - Kiss
Mr. Crowley - Ozzy Osbourne
One - Metallica (I heard this long before GH3. It still remains my favorite song by Metallica)
The Kids Aren't Alright - The Offspring
That's about all I can remember. I have no idea what the first song by Iron Maiden was that I heard, and it's probably my favorite band. Guns 'n Roses are a mystery, too, but I think it was Sweet Child o' Mine.... _________________

Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes
Mastodon - Sleeping Giant (GH3 DLC)
Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy
Lady Gaga - Just Dance
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Power of Equality (Tony Hawk's Underground 2)
Pixies - Caribou
Queens of the Stone Age - ...Millionaire (Tony Hawk's Underground)
Cibo Matto - Birthday Cake (Jet Set Radio Future)
Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood
The Stone Roses - Fools Gold (San Andreas)
Jane's Addiction - Been Caught Stealing (San Andreas)
Butthole Surfers - Who Was In My Room Last Night? (because it was the first track on the album I had, not because it was on GH2)
I don't remember what the first Boris song I heard was. I think I torrented their discography and just picked a random album, and that album was probably Pink so I guess it was probably Farewell. I'm not even going to try to figure out what my first Clash and Beatles songs were. That's probably from way back before I even knew who they were. |

Between the Buried and Me - "Alaska"
Fall Out Boy - ""Tell That Mick He Just Made My List of Things to Do Today""
The Fall of Troy - "Rockstar Nailbomb!"
Fireworks - "From Mountain Movers, To Lazy Losers"
Pretty much just the first track on the album that was out when I started listening to them (excluding "Alaska", but that's because I saw the music video). _________________
