Say Anything - Plea One of my favorites; one hell of an end to my favorite album by one of my favorite bands. It starts off real pretty, then builds energy. Great song.

Megabump, but it's worth it, I swear.

CocoRosie - Werewolf
Been listening to this one all day, and it's not because I just found it. My friend linked it to me a few months back and it's been slowly growing in to an obsession. Between her somewhat-harsh yet still beautiful voice, the haunting music, and the incredibly meaningful lyrics, it's probably one of the best songs my ears have had he pleasure of hearing.

Ellie Goulding - Lights (Bassnectar Remix)
I'm not a huge fan of Bassnectar, and I've honestly never heard of Ellie Goulding until a friend (same one as above, ftr) showed me this a few days ago. As soon as the melody started (as in, as soon as the song started) I was in love. The airy vocals really strike me. I can't say much about the lyrics, because I haven't really read them, but that's not all that important to me. I wrote out all the imagery the song brings to my mind, but I'm not going to repost them here due to the risk of sounding pretentious/cheesy, and because that's kind of something I feel everyone should experience on their own.

Gonna go with White Houses by Vanessa Carlton here. It feels like such an emotional ~journey~ listening to the song, like you're growing up alongside her or something. Idk how to describe it, but it really is lyrically fantastic and just so ridiculously powerful.

Wow, all of a sudden I really want to go out and buy a castlevania game...

Anyway, my 2 additions

1. Trains by Porcupine Tree, quite possibly the most beautiful song I've ever heard, and definitely one of my favorite songs of all time.

2. Anything off of Damnation by Opeth.... Ok maybe not Closure though.

A GH3 custom is the only one I can find for a video of the song. XD

Mitsunori Ideka and Aimee B - Fallen Angel

Not sure how many people will agree that this belongs here, but I really really like this song and I think it's pretty beautiful. It's also nothing like the show it's used as the end title for. >__>

Porcupine Tree - "Collapse the Light Into Earth"

Funeral material. In a good way, then, though. Well, kinda. You know what I mean. Or not, whatever.

Surprised no one has mentioned Bon Iver yet. These are the only songs that actually bring me to tears:

Bon Iver - For Emma
Bon Iver - Skinny Love
Bon Iver - Re: Stacks

For a TV show, Due South had a great soundtrack.
