Actually I just thought of one that I'm not really sure about.
I've always considered it an extremely beautiful song, but it's also EXTREMELY metal at times. Would you guys here call this a beautiful song?

Alter bridge - Open Your Eyes
I am not a big fan of the band but this is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and will always be one of my favorites. |

I don't know if anyone's mentioned these (I'm lazy, I know<3), but I'd say this is beautiful.
Evil In A Closet - In Flames
It's quite... Depressing. Clearly it's something that was painful to the writer. But nonetheless beautiful. Love how people interprating it as another 'Emo song about his girlfriend breaking up with him and he wants to die' -Clearly that's wrong. It has much more meaning than just some faggy, pathetic break up song.
In Loving Memory - Alter Bridge
A Tout Le Monde - Megadeth
Chasing Rainbows - Shed Seven

If it hasn't been mentioned already, I think Louder Than Thunder by The Devil Wears Prada is pretty beautiful |

Sikth - When The Moment's Gone
That one is raw, not perhaps beautiful to all but I think it holds a certain beatuy in it's composition and singing.
Andromeda - Castaway
Maybe more like what you imagined when the word beautiful comes to mind. These two are just the ones that stick out in my mind.[/url] _________________

The Who - Love Reign O'er Me
This might be the best song The Who anyone ever produced. _________________

Because metal can't be beautiful?
The ending to this song is so fucking intense and beautiful:

I've always loved the solo in that song. I'm not a fan of the other SA songs you listed though.
So you don't win >=) _________________

So you don't win >=) | You're sadly mistaken sir. I never lose. >:3
And to tell you the truth, I don't listen to much Power Metal. I'm more of a Death Metal guy. How orignal, huh? But seriously, you gotta admit that these are some purddy songs.
And give me props for the Evangelion track...seriously. |
