k, we all know music is awesome right, but whats better than listening to a band ??? Seeing them play of course !!! So, i thought it might be time for us to show gigs that we've been to, or just enjoy watching on the net !! So post up !!!

First up, Flying Whales - Gojira - Live At Garorock Festival !!!

I have this entire dvd, and it's insane !!! Im gonna buy the next album, and the next time they play in Ireland, i'm going !! Cannot wait !!!!

To me any sort of live recording isn't entertaining. I might glimpse at something to see what I'm in for, but for me it's more like hearing someone tell a vivid story of an experience that I did not have.

I've only been to one show, which was Judas Priest last year and it was beyond awesome. I've never had an experience like it.

I was at this exact show where I was introduced to the British Steel album. I actually only knew a song or two from it, but when they come in with "Rapid Fire", it's so damn powerful.

And this video below is where I think that live shows can sometimes be better than studio albums. Apocalyptica rocks, but their earlier stuff lacks drums and I think it takes away from the power. But on the Life Burns Tour DVD, you get to see them with drums, an extra cello, and just overall amazing quality.
