I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but why don't some songs credit you with gold stars for an FC? For example, I FCed 'They Say' a few times and just yesterday I FCed 'Dammit' (imported to GH5) and I didn't receive gold stars in the quickplay setlist? What gives?

awww damn... that's why that happens? I don't remember myself strumming early, but maybe it was a sub-conscious thing. I'll have to repeat an FC and see if that was the case.

I know for sure I didn't. For both songs I saw the 6 stars come up at the end of the song. Maybe not giving it time to go the stats screen messed it up? Instead of letting the stars come in (aka 1...2...3..4..5.. 6!!!) Yea I skipped that. Hmm... who knows.

If your FC scores are lower than your -1 scores, the goldless 5*s will show up instead of instead of Gold 6*s.
I had this happen on S4TD and American Pie XVox -1s after FCing with bad paths.

Wow, that makes sense. I swear, I've FC'd What I Got at least 4 times and it never shows up... I guess my sightread had a good path, but no FC, because I'm pretty sure I've only not FC'd it on my sightread.
This also explains why my 6th star never shows up when I FC Dancing with Myself also... I guess I'm just not good at activating randomly.
...But yeah, this explains a lot of annoyances I've had.

That happened with my 100%/overstrum on Heartbreaker. My -1 didn't have a bad activation

that's an odd little thing, especially since the gh2,3,and wt engines all just turn them gold for 100% no matter what your old scores are

its even worse when it takes them away when you do a better run scorewise but not FC-wise, which is MUCH easier to do on Vox.
