So what?? Some people DON'T OWN RB. Why should we be left out from playing these awesome songs just because RB has them? Or vice versa. You know, RB also has several songs that GH had on disc or as DLC first as well. This can be played both ways. These companies are targeting the masses not SH (well, NS did give SH a few DLC packs on GH3....).
TensionSpree wrote: | And to the person who mentioned the more difficult songs on an easier engine, you're dead wrong. Certain people like both engines, certain people can only do well on GH, etc. |
As for this, GH has a looser engine and people like that fact that they don't have to be so accurate with strumming the notes. It's a freakin' game. I personally sold my RB 1 and 2 discs simply because I HATE the engine. Absolutely despise it. That's my opinion. Some might really enjoy. Let them enjoy it. We all have our opinions. As for songs being easier because they are on a looser engine? A hard song is still hard on either engine.
I'm pretty psyched about this month. I've been wanting Symphony of Destruction to make it back into GH for a while now. I've always thought the solo in GH1 was quite fun. And of course, H18 will be a blast to grind out as well. Looks like I need to get on the ball and work harder so I can earn a few extra bucks to buy this stuff |

Looser engine to you. GH5 is too precise and tight for me. I'm just sayin', Megadeth's made over a hundred songs, a lot of which better than Peace Sells and Hangar 18. Thumbs-up for SoD, though. Missing the best of Countdown, This Was My Life and Architecture of Aggression.
(oh, and usually when RB steals a song that was in GH we get new ones too, see: A7x and Scream, or CCR) _________________

I love to see more GH I songs comming back. Symphony of Destruction and Fat Lip will be fun! We still need Crossroad, Heart full of black, and a few others then we'll have all the main GH I songs! _________________

wow...
I came on here expecting to see the usual unknown/european bands.
But I might actually be buying some DLC this month looking at that list.
SUM 41? Fuck yes. Used to love them when I was younger, big thumbs up.
MEGADETH? New updated SoD and H18 charts? + Peace Sells? Yes please.
WEEZER? Ok not crazy about these guys, but they're ok and i'm sure lots of people will enjoy it.
POD? 'Boom' will be an instant buy for lols. 'Southtown' sounds OK too. 'Youth of the Nation' may be a little boring though, would swap 'Alive' for that anyday.
THE USED? Not so crazy on these guys either, but i have friends who like them, so one of the new ones may be worth a buy.
Its a shame theres a few repeats in there, but they are much needed repeats tbh.
Can't wait to play through this month now
omgz bests munth evaa!! etc. _________________

Symphony of Destruction = Win
I have no problem with repeats from early GH games. I like the full charts since I only play drums now. I don't mind the RB copies either since RB is so lame that I can't bring myself to even put the disc into my PS3. _________________

Uh-huh. Was that needed info, exactly? Trollbait for the RB fans? Some people do like both series. _________________

I'll buy the entire Weezer an Sum41 packs. Absolute WIN. And I'm not a huge Megadeth fan (don't kill me for that ^^U), but I'll listen to those ones.
PS: Hi! I'm new and that stuff! Hope I can have a nice time here.
PS2: BTW, I'm Spanish, so forgive my mistakes if you see any...

Assuming this isn't a troll... there are so many things I could say right now to address this utterly stupid statement, but I'll settle for this:
You don't have to buy DLC. _________________
