Here's the link for anyone who hasn't downloaded it yet:
I haven't downloaded it yet, and think I will wait to download it, because this is just a tad bit ridiculous. :\ _________________

*sighs*
Steam auto-downloaded it before I knew what happened. Dragons are fucking scared enough of me already, do they have to make it worse? |

I didn't really check the computer yesterday, so when I started up the game last night I got this patch. No problems that I can see.
Funny enough, right after I downloaded the patch I encountered a random dragon battle, and it was actually the first one I killed after the scripted one (that's after encountering 2 random dragons before at bad times and they both OHKO'd me). The dragon's behavior didn't seem weird at all. And the rest of game seemed to work fine (in fact, I hadn't seen any bugs at all with this game so far, unless you count my horse denying all physics and walking up the sides of mountains like a boss, but that seems to happen across the board). _________________

Are these console only problems? Steam auto-downloaded it for me as well and I'm in the same camp as Hailz, I haven't seen any problems whatsoever in the time the patch has been out. _________________

Yeah, I had a few dragon fights last night that went normal (an ancient dragon owned me). Haven't noticed any patch issues.
I think horses are supposed to be crazy good at scaling inclines that your character can't. It looks weird, but I think it is intended. But horses do a ton of other buggy stuff. |

January is gonna be sweet. That is when the Creation Kit (Mod Tools) are out then, allowing people to go wild with the mods like in previous Bethesda games. |

Aye, that in tandem with the fact that apparently the geography of both Cyrodil and Morrowind are already completely in the game (http://www.insidegamingdaily.com/2011/11/22/player-uncovers-entirety-of-tamriel-in-skyrim/ )is going to make the mods gigantic.
And so all you'd have to do is edit a couple lines of code to get rid of the invisible barriers, and then with the creation kit just start throwing everything you'd want in two areas that are twice the size of Skyrim itself. These are the times that I love being a PC gamer.
(Imagine having Oblivion, Skyrim and Morrowind all in one game.... Dear god I just crapped my pants in excitement) _________________

What I've been hearing is that it's worse on PS3, I play on 360. Don't know what the patch really did but I'm still quite pleased with my game. After playing Fallout New Vegas with those miserably long loading times, I've been very impressed that Skyrim has managed to not only look/be better in every way, but load faster as well. _________________

There were tons of people complaining that something in the patch broke every resistance in the game apart from armor rating, which would have posed a HUGE problem for me, had I come across it. Example: high-level mages and breath attacks from dragons were obliterating me. I responded by slaving over the enchanting altar until I reached level 100, slapped a bunch of enchantments on my boots/jewelry, and came out with a 92% resistance to the three elements. If I charged into battle with a mage and found myself dropping dead in one or two hits again, I would be pissed. Oh, another example: with broken resistances, you're able to kill atronachs by using their respective elements against them. _________________

This might take me a while because I'm getting level 50 legit :p But I plan on enjoying it. Did a bunch of Daedric artifacts today, and I think I may finish up the main quest tonight. _________________

Just obtained this game yesterday and have logged a few hours into it. Anyone else currently playing on PC? I need someone to chat it up with while playing. Everyone I know has it on console. |

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but with the release of Dawnguard, I figured this could lead to more discussion about this amazing game. :P I'm currently downloading this right now, and will get the chance to play it tonight once I get off of work. I don't know about anyone else, but I have been excited about this DLC once they had the article in Game Informer. Needless to say, it looks amazing, and I can't wait to play it.
Anyone else? Eh? Eh? _________________

Pretty good DLC so far. Vampire powers are awesome and can be used infinitely (As in, can be used as many times you want each day rather than once a day like most powers). Achievements are currently glitched and while they'll still unlock, the gamerscore wont be added to your profile. Once they fix it you'll have to delete and recover your gamertag, and then unlock the achievements again for them to count. _________________
