No, they stated that they will most likely continue with DLC for the titles, but not come out with any new games. |

No! And just when things looked to be at their best for this franchise!
So what does this mean for DJ Hero 3D? |

Just because I'm not surprised doesn't mean I'm not disappointed.
This series had the most potential, IMO. For so, so many reasons.
Thankfully there will always be competitive DJ Hero on ScoreHero and the leaderboards. And since I bought DJH2 just a few weeks ago, it's still new and fresh for me. I'm going to savor that feeling.
It's just always such a tragedy when a series gets the axe after getting such high praise. In no other market would a game so widely accepted as great go down that fast. It's just too bad not enough people are buying it.
RIP DJ Hero _________________

The surprising part is that DJ Hero 1 was the best selling new IP of 2009. No idea about the sales for DJ Hero 2, but I'm sure that if it was given enough time so people didn't have to drop $100+ for the game and controller, it would have put up plenty of numbers. Now, I believe that they probably won't even be producing more physical copies, so what is on the shelves/in warehouses is all we're getting. I'm contemplating getting another turntable just as backup for the inevitable breaking of my current one. _________________
