BIF only has some chord changes that aren't THAT hard. They should be a cakewalk to you, seeing you can FC stuff like Eruption.

Yeah but for somoeone of the skillset that would be going for these fc's, which I am, Before I forget is much harder. I've choked both Black Sunshine and Black Magic Woman (on second orange streak) but am not even close to fcing Before I Forget. |

Yeah, but, trust me, you will be able to FC BIF before you can hit the strumming in BMW and the fast sweep in Black Sunshine.

lol...I only have 38/70 FCs, none of which are BMW or Black Sunshine, and even I can FC Before I Forget...

To be honest out of all the games GH3 is probably the most random for me, some songs I find almost impossible for some reason whereas find other songs far easier than I probably should.

I've never actually found BiF to be all that hard, and as a rule I'm usually pretty bad with chords. Even with the bridge it's just a simple move 1-3 around. BMW on the other hand....I've never even hit one of the orange streams.

I know I CoP ranked too low for most people but just personally these days I find it probably in top easiest 10 songs in the game. Its just long streams of fast Ho-Pos which GH3 is ideal for. But even back when I tried my fc run on GH3 (2008) I still got it before all the others that I've listed after. But again I know I will get no agreement so I won't push it or anything. And yes I do find Go That Far that hard >_>

Still surprised at the dislike of BMW round here. I'm probably one of if not THE worst player contributing to these threads, and even I can hit the orange streaks in BMW (never both in the same run yet but still), and the rest of the song is cake.
On the other hand I've only 5 starred Before I forget once, and am so far off the FC its untrue. There is no way I can keep up those chord changes for anything like the whole length of the song, and when the middle 8 speeds up with the RB-YO-RB bits its next to impossible. |

i would have to agree that BIF > BS > BMW. although i dont have any of the 3 FCed, i know without a doubt that i could FC both BS and BMW. I have never hit BIF's bridge or whatever in practice or in a real run

BIF is an entire song of hand-killing chord changes that are relatively fast.
BMW is 2 strumming streaks ON THE GH3 ENGINE. YOU DONT HAVE TO STRUM THEM PERFECTLY IN TIME. pick a note halfway thru the streak and strum at a constant speed until then, then slow down. first streak ends on a downstrum, 2nd on an upstrum. you can now FC BMW.
credibility: GH3 is the game i learned to play on. i got BMW in the 40s, BS at about 55 (LOL, didnt calibrate lag back then), and BIF at about 60.
shaff, i think you might just be unusually terrible at fast strumming

15 people have BMW ranked as harder than BiF, 7 have BiF as harder. Just because it's your opinion doesn't make it correct

BiF and Eruption require literally polar opposite skill sets. Eruption is strumming and tapping and BiF is chord changes. Not really a good comparison imo. And yes, the chord changes are hard.
FACT:
BMW was my 51st GH3X FC.
BiF was my 65th GH3X FC.
Can't think of what else to say to prove my point. It's just so blatantly obvious to me.

BIF was one of my first GH3X FCs
BMW is still Un-FCed by me
So this is ALL about personal strenghts. Maybe i'm just good with chord changes but i suck at fast strumming bursts.
