Metalcore fans?

metalcore is one of my fav genres.

I highly suggest checking out Last Perfection. they broke up a LONG time ago but their album Drawing Conclusions is one of my fav metalcore records. It was produced by Kurt of Converge...

Back on the metalcore topic, when you talk about Converge, you just CANNOT talk about them without mentioning the album Jane Doe. There are countless people out there who call it the best album of the decade for the genre. That's some pretty high praise. XD I myself love a bunch of the songs, but the music tends to be hit and miss for me. However, this is one of the few times I'll ever ever say lyrics were more important than the music for a song/album. Just check out the lyrics to these songs, it's fucking crazy.

jane doe is highly regarded as a "classic"... not so much in my book.

i respect converge through and through but, i never saw all the hype around this album.

as stated before, i think this falls more in the "mathcore" (terrible name) genre... with a heavy influence from grind.

I remember picking up Axe to Fall the year it came out after hearing Dark Horse, and I immediately got kicked onto my ass by everything after it

Haven't really gotten to listen to all of Jane Doe quite yet, but if it's anything like Axe to Fall, I can't wait
