|
Here are the rules and guidelines for the new rant thread.
Hobo111 wrote: | The rant thread isn't for flaming people. It isn't for rants that are thinly disguised attacks on other people, like "I hate people who have this opinion." three posts down from someone who posted that opinion. No direct attacks, no passive aggressive attacks, no flaming. It just leads to trouble. Thank you for understanding. |
This thread is a place where you can go to rant and bitch about things that you want to get out, but you might not feel worthy of it's own topic.
However, if there is a topic that is taking on a life of its own within this thread, let us know and we can split it into it's own thread so it doesn't get buried. You can PM myself or blingdomepiece, or use the report button.
PLEASE use the report button if there are posts that are out of line. Staff are going to make it a priority to watch this thread from now on but if you see something or someone going off the rails, please report it. _________________

How?!?!?!? It's fucking awesome.
(I actually do hate it, but unoriginality is fun)
On a serious note: The rant thread is DEAD! LONG LIVE THE RANT THREAD!

You know, that "Help Us Help You" survey... Let's end it here.
For my rant: Why can't forums be in realtime? _________________

The big question is, if you eat it in bar form then it's great; if you eat it as breakfast with like brown sugar on it......yeah not so much _________________

Back in my day, oatmeal was made of two things: oat and meal. Not any of this fancy blueberries and stuff.
I'm gonna blog about this.

This holds so much truth!
I hate how fragile my body is. About a month ago, I was washing dishes and I got annoyed with scrubbing off some cereal from a plate. Apparently I gripped it just a bit too roughly and I burst it into two pieces. I felt a slight sharp pain and the next thing I realized is I've got two cuts that were bleeding like crazy. Also, there were no damn bandanges around the house and I had to wash out the blood for like 20 minutes before going to Wal-Mart. Sheesh....

Strawberry or go home. -Brown sugar is ok too, but fuck Plain Oatmeal-
EDIT: What the hell happened to music these days. I turned on one of the local "Mainstream" radio stations, and everything on there was so auto-tuned it was complete shit. What happened to actual talent now a days?
It's obviously OK for chiptune to rely on it, but that's about the only place where autotune would really be necessary. _________________

People who don't know the difference between "its" and "it's". One is a possessive, one is a contraction. Grammar: learn it, live it, love it.
this message brought to you by the American Grammar Society, certainly not at all named as such because its initials are the same as those of the person who came up with it or anything silly like that
also I find it funny that it was used correctly the first time but not the second: "there is a topic that is taking on a life of its own within this thread, let us know and we can split it into it's own thread" _________________

I.
HATE.
SAUERKRAUT.
That's all I'm really trying to say I guess.
Semi-actual rant: In order to go to a tutoring appointment last night, to get to a place approximately northwest of my apartment, I walked a mile south, took a train a couple miles west, then took another bus a couple miles north. On my way home, since it was 9pm, I waited for a while for the bus but then got fed up and just had to walk 2 miles back to the train. Stupid MBTA schedules. I've since looked up the schedule and found out that bus stops running by then. _________________

Ha, something very similar happened to me about 2 years ago. I was washing a cup with a small crack in it, broke it in my hand, and sliced open my left index finger badly enough where I had to go to the emergency room and get it stitched up. Fun times.
Also, fuck Wisconsin, Scott Walker and all the stupid hicks that voted for him. The recall election wasn't even that close and now the Republicans have even more momentum in this state than they already did. Damn it all. _________________
