William Basinski - d|p 1.1
Really beautiful ambient, once you take the time for it. |

I meant almost nobody in the real world; sure it's easy to find tons of people with similar interests on the internet, but at least in my experience, it's quite unusual to just randomly meet someone with this exposure.
I'll have to look through these replies guys, thanks for taking the time to make these suggestions . _________________

Only Shallow - My Bloody Valentine
One of my favorite shoegaze songs and albums in general. Still need to check out that new album of theirs. _________________

Oh yey!
I love Post-Rock and Shoegaze, two of my most listened to genres. Anyone listen to the new My Bloody Valentine album? Thoughts, opinions?
This is another one of my favorite Shoegaze outifts, Alcest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCwGMLncumM
Their most recent release was Shoegaze album infused with bits of Black Metal, it's phenomenal.
Some more Post-Rock:
Ef - Delusions of Grandeur: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GemBXwZ9FXY
For a Minor Reflection - Andlega Vedurtepptir: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyZoR_AsKFY
Goodbye, Titan - Of Slaying Giants: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6ggOt40aXA
More great bands: Errors, Leech, Do Make Say Think, Tortoise, 417.3, HANDLINGNOISE, MAGNETOSCOP., Mono, Lights & Motion, Red Sparrowes, Pg. Lost, This Will Destroy You, Toe.
Of course, I also love the great post-rock classics: Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, Talk Talk, etc. All amazing. |
