Ok that makes sense. Now that I think about it the points did seem to gather slowly at the start. You can do it Kris! Just put altogether in a run and get the FC! |

So, full disclosure. I am very used to the RB3 engine, getting used to GH again, its been almost 2 years is a tough learning curve to say the least. Next, I played for only an hour today, and I am sure I can do better on all but one song, the one I actually FCed. Finally, well, I warned you, I am not that good, but I tried at least. Here goes what I got so far:
Ghost: 206,797 (had another run that was 100% but lower )
2112 Part 1: 198,497
Tick Tick Boom: 232,301
Setting Fire: 170,628 (lolz)
Feels Like the First Time: 163,931
Ties That Bind: 129,927
Bat Country: 235,072 (I could likely FC this)
We're Not Gonna Take it: 273,597
Week 1 songs:
What Do I Get: 284,002 (FC!)
Bleed It Out: 203,024 (FC!)
Lasso: 209,065 (FC!)
Fortunate Son: 123,074 (FC!)
Fury: lolz no too much plinking to get 3 stars
Cherry Bomb:
Prepare for War:
Psychosocial:
Ran out of time for the backlog songs, but I at least got scores in for all the songs this week.
So, those songs that I CAN FC, well, I did okay, at least they weren't embarrassing scores. Ironically, my most competitive score was not a FC, We're Not Gonna Take it (-2) ... go figure.
So, like I said, dead last, but hopefully I will keep on improving. My GH skills are WAY rusty. More songs when I get to play again. _________________

Yeah, that's a tough transition from RB to GH. The timing window on RB is much tighter than GH. I struggle on the timing in RB for a day or so ... but surprisingly, it helps my GH playing LOL.
Those are good scores. _________________

Another week done everybody. ThunderShade had the performance of the week only coming in 2 points off of a perfect week. Newuser didn't submit a score for feels like the first time but I helped him out by looking at his submitted scorer on his scores page. I think score of the week would have to go to newuser for coming in 600 points ahead of everyone else on Bat Country. Great scores everybody! I'll put the week 3 songs up soon.
EDIT: so I forgot that everybody has until the end of today to submit round 2 scores so yeah keep submitting and I'll adjust the results as needed. My bad! Got round three songs up a day early though lol. |

Had a quick look at Deadfall. If squeezing an entire beat at 300bpm is your thing, then squeeze an extra note in the first act and push Slasher's third act back a note.
Assuming perfect squeezing, conlan's path is better for the middle due to ticks on his second act. However, his is harder to execute as that path requires two hard squeezes in the middle whereas Slasher's requires only one. So unless you can get all the squeezes in one run and get ticks on conlan's second act, then go for Slasher's path. And use Slasher's last act, whatever path you use. _________________

Nope. While it is better to move the last act forward to the RYB triplet I didn't even do that in my run. You do know to hit the holds at the end of the activation early, right? It's just you seem to be doing not too well on the tick squeezing heavy songs so I'm guessing there must be something you're doing wrong.
EDIT: Thinking about it some more it seems like you tend to be not bad at tick squeezes but at songs with horrible messes of sustains in the middle. Are you losing a lot of points in the middle? Hit every sustain slightly late and you won't drop any points. Doing this doesn't push the end of the sustain forward so unlike say GH:SH it's actually humanely possible to get all the ticks. _________________

i'm not sure if i'm losing points in the middle. this could be the problem. i literally get the same exact score most of the time i play. i don't gain/lose any ticks on the squeezes. for 2112 pt 2, it all comes down to whether or not i hit the 1st squeeze, but i still end up 100 points short which doesnt make any sense. i'll record some runs to see why i'm terrible at this game. _________________

I didn't see anything that looked bad... I'll record a run of mine and see where there's a difference in points
Edit: changed the self esteem path
Edit: do you have the game installed to the HDD? |
