I like controversial FCs. For real tho I'm just too lazy to setup my PS2 and swap between the two when practicing. Emu has awful lag but having savestates makes it way easier to practice specific parts. I also don't have a TV so I'm having a hard time fitting all my consoles on my computer desk lol.

Kind of hilarious that you're just barely getting an FC that I got over a decade ago. You're so much better than me it's ridiculous. I couldn't dream of 656/660, that's such a mindblowing total. I do hope you're able to knock out those last few songs, I know they're all possible for someone of your caliber!

As far as skill goes, there's no doubt that I can FC the songs I have left. The big bottleneck though is my complete and utter lack of motivation to do anything since 2014. All of my new FCs usually coincide with a burst of energy/motivation or a kick in the butt to get something done and move on. I'll see what I can do though :P
Also how can you FC this a decade ago and not have a FSFC :'((((((

Always great to see people coming back to accomplish stuff they've been close to for years, glad GH1 is finally finished.
Hopefully you can luck out on the last few and they won't be as awful and annoying as they could be. Especially since we all know you're more than capable, it's just a matter of motivation and dealing with engine quirks.

RIP. Well, at the very least I'm glad to see that whatever hurdle you had with verse 2 is seemingly overcome. Considering you were just lamenting how SD would be your very last FC, I'd say this is encouraging. Don't lose motivation yet, you're so close!

By breaking down the section into 3 segments I was able to find a very consistent way to hit it. I basically focus on doing a quick double strum fretting just as fast, strum 4 more times, do a quick triple strum with high emphasis on the top notes fretting equally fast and then end the last broken bit with another double strum with quick fretting.
The key is to hit the hopo and then hit the strum within the next few frames. The same hold true for any strum that follows a hopo (so all of Solo B, which is how I was able to get fairly consistent at it).
On a side note, my strum bar is now overstrumming extremely often, dozens of times a run instead of the rare occasional overstrum every other run. Which leads to this update... I rage quitted before the stats because I didn't want to see it but god dammit...

I was gonna try to wait to comment until after the FC but uggh this sucks dude
I know solo B is like the hardest section in the game, but oooof so many close runs
And guitar issues are never fun, but it's especially frustrating when you're so close to getting something, hopefully it goes away /can be fixed
