So i just bought a used LP and fretting a GRY chord registers a strum. Further, holding down GRY and strumming DOESN'T register strums.

Possibly helpful details:
It doesn't matter which fret is pushed last. For example, holding down G and R and then tapping Y registers a strum each time Y is pushed. The same applies to holding down other combinations. It is only a problem for this fret combination. I can take a video of the problem if that would help.


I'm assuming it's a problem with the wiring somehow. I just finished hardwiring it thinking that would solve all of my fret problems (and it did solve all the other ones) but this one persisted.

Help plz?

had a similiar issue on my buds guitar a repaired awhile back. turned out to be those assemblers, and there love of excessive solder.... when will they learn! lives could be lost... just check the mainboard with a magni-glass, and good lighting, and i bet you will find some unwanted contact goin on
