Wow. So there's one in Minnesota. I'm tempted to go, but I'm only 17, and I don't drink anyway.

Only about an hour from here, but my parents wouldn't let me go on a random trip by myself to some random internet guy's house in the Cities. Oh well, have fun!

kov, thanks for inviting me to your GH rock fest. right now I guess I'm a maybe, since i would love to go (GH + drinking = hilarity) but as you have shown a dozen times by now, you can be completely wasted and still kick my ass at GH. we'll see if I feel like meeting a bunch of other people who can do that as well. we'll talk wednesday.

I think people are reading too much into the "drinking" part of the thread title. This isn't going to be a drinking contest weekend or see who can bong three beers while being lifted upside down and immediately doing a kegstand. This is a normal guitar hero get together like any other.

It's not a tournament. We're just going to get together and play co-op and pro-faceoff and other things for a couple days. There's a bar down the street with karaoke for anyone who is interested (I am). We can grill out or do a million other things as well. So if you're discouraged about coming because you don't drink, you aren't that great at GH, etc, don't worry about it! It's still gonna be a blast!

I would like to add to what Kov said.

Like he said it's not going to be non stop drinking etc. It's going to be a fun GH get together... there will be some drinks.. a few beers here and there... maybe a really drunk Kov/KoT ;). But don't let whether or not you drink or you're good sway your decision.

It's just going to be a good time playing GH.... probably one of the nights i'll cook dinner or whatever people feel like.

Everybody is welcome regardless of drinking or gh ability

Yup - I don't touch alcohol (because I'm a nerd who has no desire to change his reality), BUT I am trying to see if I can't possibly make this, as it really does sound like a blast...

hmm - wonder if I can beat drunk-Kov
