Mercurial - New: Band Hero XBass FGFC / 5th place

"Updating this semi-regularly, I hope" -> 1 year later.

So I've recently been playing again and have gotten some new XGuitar FCs:

Guitar Hero 3
Holiday in Cambodia (#51)
Knights of Cydonia (#52)

I also choked DHB a ton and Tech FCed everything except for TTFaF, One and Raining Blood. I'm definitely not good enough to get TWiE but we could certainly get to 66 with enough grinding.

More to come. After getting JPGB and taking a look at TKAR and Mercy, I'm fairly sure I could get the FGFC. Worth the grind?

Other:

Some medium guitar on GHA as well (FCs #9-14) but I spent about 5 hours tonight working on my GH/RB beautiful spreadsheet.

So today and yesterday I grinded out GHA Medium and got the FGFC for that. Top 20 scoreboard but I only sorta care about that right now, more concerned with just spamming decent scores to get closer to the top guitarists lists.

Got GHA Expert FCs from #24 -> #39, just Back in the Saddle and Train kept a Rollin' left. I don't care enough to grind those two, even though I could definitely get them. There's quite a few more points to squeeze out of the FCs I already had, but other than that I'm happyish with 85th for now.

On to GHA Easy and Hard now, I think.

Damn, Merc, that's a phenomenal job! I can't wait till you do actually get the FGFC if you've gotten this far, though I perfectly understand not wanting to grind either song. Especially TKaR.

Grinded out pretty much the entire Aerosmith game on Easy difficulty for the FGFC which is now complete. I'm currently in 9th place globally and will redux a couple of songs which might get me up to 7th or 8th, but other than that, on to Hard!

Congrats on that fgfc! I have the easy aerosmith fgfc and it wasn't too bad imo. The joe Peru songs gave me the most trouble, so good luck with hard

Nice. Just don't do something stupid like grind nearly all of WT MBass in the span of one day. God, that was a bad idea.

BH MGuitar was actually kind of fun. I don't know why I did like 50 songs in one day though.

So, I've been retiscent to update this until I finished off my GHA Hard FGFC which is done as of today! This means that I have finally submitted 164 scores to GHA, 162 of which are FCs, including FGFCs of Easy/Medium/Hard.

I took the liberty of calculating my actual standings overall in GHA by taking the Rankings here and adjusting them so that only your best score for each song counts, regardless of platform (which roughly translates as bringing DrSham and voided back to the rest of the group and removing the people who played through hard/expert and multiple consoles but never did easy/medium) and built the following overall ranking:

Pretty happy with 3rd place; although I can't help but feel like 2nd is definitely achievable if I get the Expert FGFC and with a small amount of reduxing.

Alongside this, I've been doing some Rock Band 2 and 3, including getting some new expert FCs.
