I'm having real trouble with transitioning to this chord. I just cannot get it to feel natural. Are people sliding thier first finger up to the second fret for this? A specific place I'm struggling is in The Alter Bridge song in GHTV where it transitions from WWW.

Any tips?

This chord is probably the worst one. For Waking Up In Vegas, which makes frequent use of it and has some different trasitions to it, I barred 2 with index and used middle on B3. Only time in the game where I switched positions, iirc.

I found this chord rather easy. Actually I pressed my middle finger in between the two 2 buttons, and the 3B with my ring. That's just my method though lol my methods are stupid and no one else ever uses them

Works the same way for me, it's just a thing of getting used to it (especially getting the position of your middle finger right all the time) and practicing with songs like Waking Up In Vegas, it should become natural after some time.

I find BWB and WBW to be way harder chords to pull of fast, not to mention those transitioning into each other

This, otherwise I would end up barring 2 and 3. It's better to get used to the usual position though, but for the time being this seems to work better.

Thanks guys. I will try both techniques. I suspect sliding up and using my index finger will be the way I go.
