Just so I can make good use of my old GH2 PS2 guitars that are still working perfectly, I was considering getting one of those PS2 to PS3 adapters. I had one back in the day, but it didn't allow for a Select SP activation and the tilt was extremely laggy. I want one that will work with Select activations and will work for the following games: PS3: GH3, GH5, GH:WoR and PS4: RB4. Is such a demand possible and if so, which adapter should I be looking for?

im 100% confident ps2 guitars cant be used on ps3 games because they lack the psn button. you can use ps2 guitar on backward capability ps3 only to play ps2 games (gh1-2-80s-3)

I recently bought one for the same reason. It works, it just doesn't recognise it as a guitar. So It's kind of useless :/

Regular ps2 controllers work with PS3 games just fine

really ? thats news to me but I never tried it. I find it pointless to play with a controller but I know back in the day, it was a thing.

I once had an adapter so I could play RB2 on PS3 with a GH2 guitar. It worked well enough to play the game, but I couldn't select activate. I can't find it so I want a new one. I will be playing PS3 and PS4 games with it. I just don't wanna buy a lemon.
