|
|
I know the topic of determining a 6 star cutoff has been tossed around and I believe enough info has been gathered to easily determine what that is...
It's now proven that the 5 star cutoff is exactly 1.5 times the amount of the proven 4 star cutoff....here are a few examples:
Expert:
I Love R&R - 4-Star 50,962 5-Star 76,443
IWBSedated - 4-Star 125,712 5-Star 188,568
The list goes on and on and the formula adheres to all difficulty levels.
So, I can only assume the 6 star cutoff is 1.5 times the proven 5 star cutoff.
With that said, I Love R&R would be 76,443 x 1.5 = 114,665 (rounded up)
...and IWBSedated 188,568 x 1.5 = 282,852
If I'm right and JCirri and others agree (or have already figured this out which I'm sure is the case) maybe a new page can be added on the site to not only list all the 6 star cutoffs, but also list those who have achieved it? If nothing else it would add a new dimension to the game. _________________

I think they're waiting for all the 5-star cutoffs to be determined first. |

6 star cutoffs are 4 star cutoffs times 2

That part is wrong. It's 4/3 of the 5* cutoff (or, as pope said, 2x 4*).
Also, just for the sake of total accuracy, I think JC is holding off on implementing the concepts of 6 and 7 stars until all cutoffs have been proven. |

why not give credit for the other cutoff if someone finds a cutoff??
For example, if someone finds a 4 star cutoff, why not give them credit for the 5 star as well since that can be determined mathematically? It would greatly decrease the number of cutoffs left. Letting JC do the cutoff calculations or at least approving them as well. _________________

I've had that as an idea for quite some time now, but I'd still like to have photo proof for every bound of every cutoff. Most people who are serious about proving the cutoffs know the relationships between them and can use common sense to figure out what to aim for. _________________

Plus, it's not too hard to just get 2 pictures instead of just 1, just means you have to play the song again :P _________________
