And the funny thing is...you can feel the <5 bpm changes in this song.

God I can't believe people are actually that good at this game.

I can't even 4 star this song on Medium. It's simply an unfair and poorly designed song.

I know this isn't the place to be asking this, but is there any rhyme or reason to the beginning part? The GGGOOOYYRRBB part? That is the only part I consistently can't get. I can do the rest of the song...

Also make sure you're holding down the buttons the right length of time, whether it be for 3 notes or 2...often if I miss it's because my fingers weren't fast enough.

Actually there aren't tempo changes, just changes in the time signature...that's what makes it a little tricky mentally. If I could just get past my mental roadblock, I know I could FC this too...I always make one random mistake somehow during the song.

There are tempo changes. Over 100 in fact. If you can, download the latest version of the VGS Player here, which has a tempo counter.

Yeah but the tempo only changes in these cases because the time signature changes. The other many tempo changes are negligible because they are embedded in accelerandos and ritards...

Tempo changes might not be the right phrase for it, but this song forces you to change your strumming speed in places where it seems like the rhythm should be consistent (like in the opening section). And wouldn't an accelerando be more of a smooth speed up? A lot of these changes are instantaneous.

I say what you're calling the real tempo changes are the ones that are negligible, because they don't screw me up!

I guess...I feel like this is turning into a semantic argument....oh well.

lol! I guess the tempo changes that I was deeming as "negligible" is analogous to calling air resistance "negligible" when there's a 150 mph wind blowing, huh?

The tempo changes that mess me up are the 2 main ones in the intro. You can visibly tell that the notes go fast, then slower, then faster again.

Oh thank goodness somebody else has problems with this. The first couple times it happened, I thought something was wrong with my PS2...like it slowed down or something. That slowdown is so annoying.
